MAJOR CERTIFICATION AGENCY – We have emerged as the largest and most respected kashrus agency for the “Heimishe” (strictly Orthodox) community. Certifying hundreds of foods manufacturing plants, producing thousands of kosher products, as well as many retail establishments, catering halls and eateries. Providing kosher certification to two large poultry plants, and five meat processing plants, employing 50 shochtim (butchers), as well as several large dairy farms and world-class wineries.

In 1955, the Central Rabbinical Congress of USA and Canada, התאחדות הרבנים דארצות הברית וקנדה, the “CRC”, was founded. As a widely representative rabbinical body, it was designed to unite orthodox communities and to serve orthodox and Hasidic Jewry. It was founded by Grand Rabbi Joel Teitelbaum OBM of Satmar, along with other leading rabbis, including Rabbi Levi Yitzchok Greenwald of Tzelim, Rabbi Yosef Greenwald of Pupa, Rabbi Shimon Yisrael Posen of Shopron, Rabbi Yonasan Steif of Vien, and Rabbi Moshe Teitelbaum of Siget, (future Satmar rebbe), who served as the organization’s executive board.

Since 2012, GLOBAL KOSHER (International Division) has expanded Kosher certification abroad under the administration of Rabbi Ovadia Tank, who is the Director of the International Kosher Division of the CRC (Pupa Supervision)

The Central Rabbinical Congress of the U.S.A. and Canada, commonly referred to as the CRC; or Hisachdus HaRabbonim D’Artzos HaBris V’Canada (התאחדות הרבנים, its Hebrew name), is a rabbinical organization that is a consortium of many Orthodox Jewish groups.

We have a special division, the Bais Horuah Kehilath Yakov, a Rabbinical Group of 22 rabbi’s serving the Pupa Jewish community in kings and Rockland county in N.Y. and abroad. We operate two offices one in Williamsburg and one in Monsey N.Y. during the day and night from 7:30 am till 10:30 pm where people can come and ask Jewish law questions and seek family and personal guidance from the Rabbi’s , plus some medical help/ guidance and financial help when needed.

We also operate a 18 hour live hot line where people call starting 6:30 am till 1:30 am and they could talk to a Rabbi to ask questions and seek quick guidance 718-522-1166 this hot line is very picked by the broader Jewish community and its constantly busy with callers, from the non pupa community too.
